A Pilgrimage from Colehill to Salisbury
Tuesday 1st June – Wednesday 2nd June 2010
The purpose of the Pilgrimage is:
To experience what it means to be on pilgrimageTo enjoy ourselves with other members of the body of Christ.
To enable everyone who wishe to participate to do
To raise funds for charity
To raise awareness of the Cathedral as our mother church
DEPARTURE St. Michael and All Angels Church Colehill
Tuesday 1st June after Morning Prayer at 8am
OVERNIGHT Stop at Pentridge for Eucharist, Barbeque and optional overnight camp.
It will also be feasible to return home for the night and join us again next morning.
ARRIVAL Salisbury Cathedral Wednesday 2nd June in time for Evensong at 5.30pm.
The total distance from Colehill to Salisbury is about 24 miles.
Everyone who takes part should endeavour to be present at the service at the beginning of the pilgrimage and definitely at the Cathedral at the end of the Pilgrimage
ROUTE Along well maintained public footpaths, through varied and scenic countryside.

Pilgrims may wish to join and leave the pilgrimage at regular intervals.
No-one should feel excluded.
CHARGES We are expecting the pilgrimage to run at minimal cost,
We do hope that every individual involved in it will seek sponsorship for charity.
MONEY RAISED Will be divided between three charities :
1. The Reef (the local youth and community project),
2. Shelter Box Trust (providing essential aid in international emergencies),
3. Salisbury Sudan Fund
